I offer training and teaching for healthcare and education professionals during one or two-day intensive workshops, that can then be followed by on-going professional supervision (please refer to my ‘Professional Supervision‘ page for more detail). I have extensive experience in teaching and training in a variety of different settings including the NHS and within the private and public-school system.
Training topics can include identification of and coping with mental health issues in children within the education system, adults in the work place and volunteers in the charity sector. Further, topics can include understanding the psychological impact of medical conditions and treatments, teaching about different developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and understanding and coping with trauma. A tailor-made training package is created for each organisation in order to ensure that their needs and learning goals are met.
